Waxed Tough Mitts

High quality fabrics and workmanship but the shape is just not right. If you hate your opposable thumbs, these are the gloves for you. The thumb is too far under the hand rather than where it actually is, on the side. Love SK, but these are not great. I'll stick to the hats. ~Hi Kevin, We're sorry these didn't work for you. Liner is too thin and wore through after 2 years. Shell stitching started separating after 1 year. Quality doesn't match the premium price. ~ Hi Tim, We're sorry these didn't work out for you. SK~

For several years, I have cycled & skied in a pair of Waxed Tough Mitts. They are warm, light-rain resistant & low-profile. No straps, buttons, and/or Velcro. When a small tear at the thumb-side seam developed, SK replaced them for me. Unexpected & rare as that event was, I really appreciate SK standing behind their products

These mitts have been good. They keep my hands warm when nothing else would. The stitching at the base of the thumb is coming undone. Comfortable, great fit, warm, just as advertised.

Bought these in Medium after carefully measuring my hand. These are way too big! Mittens are warm and great at breaking a cold wind. My only complaint is the smell. Can't seem to get rid of it and when I take them off my hands smell like them. Hope that goes away eventually or I won't be wearing them much.

I haven't really had a chance to use these in cold weather yet, soon though! As with everything Stormy Kromer, excellent materials, put together really well.
