Really liked the mitts but the large were to small. Sent them back on Oct 13 th but have heard nothing about there replacement with x large as sofar.

Length fits well, a little snug around the knuckles, but overall, very warm and would buy them again
I have a lot of Kromer clothing over the years and everything is really good, so I figured these mittens would be the same. For the past two years I have been looking for a pair of really good mittens for the cold. I didn't purchase any because I was looking for a nice, heavy mitten made of more natural materials, meaning wool. I saw these in department store a month ago and bought them in navy blue. Really, really nice-looking mitts, looks like they are made too. But...when it is cold and the wind is blowing these things just don't cut it and what I mean by cold is anything under 15 degrees. I have deliberately worn them as much as I possibly could have over the past month to walk my dog, shovel snow, whatever takes me outdoors. What I've concluded is that, unlike my wool Stormy Kromer jacket that I wear because it keeps the wind out, the wind penetrates through the wool in these mitts and the backs of my hands never can get or stay warm. The fingertip area rarely, if ever warms up and pilled fabric liner is already flattening out. For $5-10 more bucks, add another layer of wool - or something - on the backs just to cut the wind and possibly make sure the lining is a bit heavier. They are built great and the looks are great but the function is far from it. These mitts just don't work well. Now I'm back to wearing light gloves as an insert to these to keep warm defeating their purpose. ~~ Sorry to hear your mittens aren't working as you thought they would. We will make sure our design team gets your feedback. Thanks for your honest review! SK ~~
The mitts are sure a major improvement over my previous gloves I wore as they are warm for Minnesota winters. Did take into consideration what other reviews noted that they run large. So I measure my hand and the large size fit nice. One draw back leather is rather stiff and not as soft as I would have liked. I quickly learned that when getting into my truck, gloves must come off first. Then insert keys, start vehicle and buckle my seat belt and put gloves back on.
Pleased to purchased an American made item. Found great for snow shoveling and snow blowing.
Extremely warm in whatever temp. Only worn them a few times, but they seem tough, like they’ll last a while.
STORMY! Need I say more? Perfectly sized--I used a seamstress tape, it was an 8, ordered the 8 and fits like a tough mitt should. WARM and the leather style palms are great in the Michigan snow and our annual shovel Olympics.
The mitts are warm, but for my hand they are tight getting them on once on they are OK. They would be alot better if the mitts got rid of stiff goat skin and used buck skin. I would still buy again
Really great mitts. I bought three and the quality is great.
