Great look. Like that and the fact that is is quite warm given it’s overall weight. I think your quality inspectors need to pay better attention to the button hole finish. The holes are ragged meaning the sewing around the perimeter’s edge have threads broken giving an untidy look when the vest is worn unbuttoned.
I like it. Comfortable to wear. it will be a good work vest. The sharp metal buttons have go. The idea isn't bad, just need different ones. I may have to change mine out, which you shouldn't have to do on a $150 garment.
Built well ! Cut like a real work vest . looking forward to years of use . true to size . Although , I would prefer snaps or a zipper to buttons .
I find that this vest works just as well while working on my truck, relaxing at camp, or heading out to a nice dinner with family. It looks great, and adds a great layer of warmth. I love this vest!
I own 2 other vest from Stormy Kromer and this is the go to. Other vest are not every day, but this is for sure. If you wear a large t-shirt, get a large vest, xl t-shirt xl vest. I got the xl and is perfect for layering. The best out of the 3 I own so far.

This vest has quickly become my go to outer wear.I wore it all spring long over a sweater or a hoodie. It is my constant companion while fishing. Its great in wet weather and windy conditions, and the pockets come in handy for things like sun glasses and my cell phone. I love this vest so much i was disapointed when it got to warm to wear it. Im 6'1" and about 225, so a XXL is perfect for layering. This vest will only get better with time. Highly recomended!!
I am 5' 11" 160 lbs my chest size is some where between a 40 and 41 so I decided to go with a large for layering purposes. It fits perfect over a hoodie and provides the extra chest warmth I desire from a vest. If i wanted it to be a under coat vest i would go with a medium (not really what it is designed for). Being a waxed cotton it is stiff in feel like a new pair of denim jeans which will wear in nicely as the vest conforms to life with me. Wearing the vest alone it doesn't feel too big but at this point with the stiffness; the roominess (air gaps) is noticeable but as it gets softer with wear that will go away. It does have a flare out as it gets into the hip area. Its better than the alternative of tightness around the hips especially when you carry anything attached to your belt. I am very fond of this vest.
