The Squall Coat

This jacket is very well made and will most likely outlast my grandchildren. It's windproof and rain proof. You should know that it is stiff and will require breaking in period. It looks good (I bought the dark oak), feels good and I have received several compliments about it. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because I'm 6'2" and usually need a tall size and this jacket is not offered in tall sizes. If SK ever offers them in tall sizes I will buy another one. This truly is a legacy garment.

This is exactly what i wanted and needed for a winter coat. Well built and will last forever. I can say it is the best coat I have ever had and I'm 76 years old!

Actually using this for hunting, it is a really tough jacket. 6ft 210, I ordered XL and have plenty of room for extra layers. It would be a bit loose with just a shirt. This week with 35degrees and 25 mph the wool vest underneath was good. SK hat and flaps!

Not disappointed in the jacket...slight in the USPS shipping (just shy of 2-weeks to receive). Very definitely a hardy jacket, stiff in chilly weather. Will likely ease up with some wearing. Heavier cloth and finish than some others in the closet. Ordered an XL and definitely room for layering. Would likely have been able to use an L (6' 200# and losing more every day); probably for the first time in >30 years. Looking forward to many years of use. Always glad to find made-in-usa in this day and age.
