    I have had the waxed cotton cap for about ten years now. I've always wanted something warmer so I didn't have to wear a stocking or watch cap. I finally ordered the waxed cotton rancher cap. It's everything and a bag of chips. Very warm and the ear protector is top notch. All I have to do is flip my collar up and pull the ear flap down and no more cold wind on my neck and ears.

    My 5th stormy kromer hat. They perform as advertised. Super warm and stay on your head no matter where you wear them. This is my 2nd ranchers model and by far the warmest one for skiing and hunting in the extreme cold weather. I highly recommend them to anyone who spends time outdoors in cold climates.

    Love the style hat and quality construction. Only negative is the sizing of the hats are not true. Had to return the hat and upsize twice to get proper fit. I normally wear a 7 3/8 fitted hat and finally settled on a 7 5/8 to get a proper fit. Stormy needs to correct this issue of sizing. ~~ Good morning, We are sorry to hear you had some issues with sizing. Our styles can fit a little different, especially our Rancher Cap.
