This coat is fantastic! The workmanship and quality is amazing and exactly what I’ve come to expect from Stormy Kromer. An American made classic.

The first thought when I tried on the coat was the quality of it. The material and stitching were very nice. I love the fact SK used buttons instead of a zipper, perfect for cold weather. You definitely get what you pay for here, stylish yet practical !! This coat will last my lifetime.....
I've owned this jacket for over a year and used it during hunting season last fall in the Cascades of Central Washington - up to the 6500 foot level. This is without a doubt the best jacket for an outdoors man. Quality construction, roomy, comfortable and warm with breath-ability. My hunting partner is a hard core Filson mackinaw guy and he was so impressed that he wants to buy one of these for himself now. A lifetime investment.
Great Coat, Warm, the fit is great, And it looks good on me!!!! Love it.
If you are looking for an outstanding American made outdoorsman coat that speaks of our great country's heritage of craftsmanship, durability and strength, look no further than this rugged coat. The attention to detail is excellent and it harkens back to the days when your hard earned money really purchased something worth the dollars spent i.e. .it is made in America and made well in America. Its right at home with my vintage Power Wagon working in the woods or throwing it on to grab a bite in town. I like the fact that it has buttons which are easily replaceable unlike snaps or zippers which tend to fail in the years to come. Stormy thought this one out and like their famous caps, it will become part of your lifetime.
I LOVE this coat. It's my first Mackinaw and couldn't be happier. The craftsmanship is fantastic and it is extremely warm. Like wearing a wool blanket. To the reviewer who called this a shirt jac it is NOT a shirt jac, far from it. Can't wait to pass this on for generations.
I've had the coat for just about a year and it is great for Michigan winters. When it is really cold I can layer up, otherwise the coat is fine as is. Excellent workmanship with top notch material. I always receive complements when I wear it.
Nice feeling wool. Not warm by any means. I have other brands of shirt jacs that are much warmer. The cut is exttremely boxy, it can easily look sloppy. The red and black colors are great and a matching hat is awesome.
I have had both this coat and the filson cruiser.I kept my stormy kromer and sold the cruiser on e-bay!The stormy kromer is a superior coat.Better wool, better feeling, better drape and better made!
