The Insulated Waxed Cotton Cap

This is a hat that looks as great as it is practical. The only reason for only a 4 is that the ear flaps leave the bottom of my ear lobes exposed. Living in Canada with regular exposure to -25 temperatures makes that a problem ~~ We've discovered that the size and position of ones ears will determine if the earflap will cover the ears completely. That said, our earflaps will cover the majority of our customers ears. Sorry to hear you're part of the small group they don't quite cover. You can always return it within 90 days of purchase. SK~~

I just love the waterproof aspects of this hat. It’s warm and comfortable down to 30’s and it’s completely waterproof. The insulation keeps your head warm and the ear covers are perfect

Love this cap, I’ve owned multiple wool mackinaw caps by Stormy Kromer and this cap has kept my head as warm so far. I haven’t tried it out in negative 0 temps yet. Well made and built to last, right here in America

Before buying my first SK I was skeptical and didn't see the necessity of owning one. I decided to give this one a try and am hooked! I wear my insulated waxed cotton cap with me while working outside when the weather starts to turn in the fall. We own a small goat hobby farm in Western Michigan and get a lot of lake effect snow during the winter and the beauty about this cap is that it's waterproof due to it being infused with wax. I can head out to the barn get the goats hay, grain, and water without being concerned about my SK being soaked with water from melted snow. The cap is warm and offers plenty of protection from the elements. Now I see why many of my buddies own SK's... I'm a believer. This is a very well made cap and will last a lifetime. This hat is great quality. Nice materials and craftsmanship. The fit is good and the hat is sturdy. This particular hat has fleece on the inside of the ear band. That is awesome! All of your hats should have fleece on the inside of the ear bands. Nice little touch. This is my third Kromer. I will always be a loyal customer. Thank you!
