I got turned onto the "Ida" when a friend of mine bought a pink one for herself & it didn't fit her (her head was too small). I convinced my husband to purchase it from her for my stocking 2 Xmas' ago. I made a point last Xmas to let him know how much I wanted a white "Ida" & low & behold there it was Xmas morning. This Xmas I have hinted that a Partridge Paid under the tree would be the best thing I could receive!!!I too think black in the "Ida" would be great. In fact "Ida's" should be in all the colors that "Stormys" are in. Love that short brim!!! Great hat!!! My goal is to have one in every color!!! -MandySandy

I was just back home in the u.p. and my papa bought me a cozy, chocolate brown ida as an early christmas present! He knows that i spend most of my time outdoors exploring, especially in the winter, so it was a very thoughtful gift...and it looks great! -kimmi

Not a day goes by when I'm wearing one of my Ida Kromers that I don't get at least one compliment from a complete stranger. Most days I have multiple exchanges with other folks sporting a Kromer of their own, people that know about Kromers, and those that don't have a clue what's on my head but just recognize a darn good lookin' cap when they see one. I proudly tell them all about Stormy Kromers and happily direct them to the website or store in Ironwood.I started my Kromer relationship with a winter white Ida, then added blaze orange and rasperry to my collection. These three hats keep my head comfortably covered much of the year, but to make sure I have a reasonable option for the few warmer days we have up in northern Wisconsin annually, I've asked Santa for a brick colored cord cap. I hope he thinks I've been a good girl! -blueayes

I was raised in the U.P., so am "naturally attracted" to SKs, but got my first only two years ago. I most appreciate its versatility and fit. I get compliments on it whether I am wearing it with wool coats or ski jackets. More importantly, it keeps me warm and stays put, making it perfect for walking the dog, hiking, shopping outdoor winter markets and covering ski helmet hair. My pink Ida is a staple of my winter wardrobe. Next on my list is a brimless, hopefully in plaid...hint, hint, hint. -IdahoAspieMom

I love the new colors, my husband came home with the partridge plaid and raspberry for me. But, I cannot find ANYTHING that goes with the raspberry - it's not quite pinkish to coordinate with pink, but not purpley enough to go with purple. Beige or black jackets are OK around the homestead, but I want sometihng that looks like a match or coordinate for those dressy goin-inta-town Saturday nights. Besides anything black (which would match the trim on the hat) picks up all the hair from our golden retriever, which is not a good thing. Stormy Kromer folks, PLEASE make a light-weight jacket, shirt or gloves to go with the raspberry - in real-world female sizes. . And I agree with the reviewer "Judy", it should say IDA KROMER on the back! Thanks for a cute product ! -Tina Ida Bean

My Favorite Engineer bought me this for Christmas (in pink) and yes, I love it. It looks great, fits wonderfully (I have the one size fits all-the hidden elastic inserts are perfect) and when I have to pull the sides down over my ears on those cold winter mornings waiting for my commuter train, it's fantastic. Thank you!!! -AmtrakJulie

I love my white Ida because it's more lady like than the Stormy, with the shorter brim. In Wisconsin I hunt & ice fish in the winter next to my hubby & this Ida really keeps my head warm. I wish you would embroider "Ida Kromer" on the back instead of "Stormy Kromer" cause that's what it is! Also black and blaze orange would be nice colors to have. I have a small head & the Stormy's larger brim doesn't look as good on me as it does on my husband. -Judy

My husband and I live up in Alaska and these caps keep us warm in the winter!! And being that my husband is from the UP of Michigan these are of particular value. -Sarah Ott

I bought my husband a black stormy Kromer last fall. When it arrived, I tried it on and fell in love with it and immediately ordered one for myself. I wore it non-stop all winter. This summer while I was up north, I purchased a white Ida Kromer and it is even better. I love the more modified brim...a slight difference but more flattering to my face. I, too, wish the "Ida" came in black so I could replace my black "Stormy" with an "Ida". Wonderful winter hat...I probably will be back for a brown "Ida". -Kate from Plymouth, MI
