I was expecting quality from a product that has the iconic brand name Stormy Kromer attached to it. This is my second purchase and I'm quite disappointed in the quality or lack thereof. It was nothing like the first hat I had purchased. There is absolutely no structure to this hat and I can see daylight through the flimsy fabric. It would look like the picture if you put something under it to support it, otherwise it would collapse in. I own better hats that cost a fraction of this one. Unfortunately I removed the product labels before inspecting it because I would have put it back into the bag and sent it back. ~ Sorry to hear you are not happy with your cap. As long as the cap hasn't been worn and the sewn in labels are still attached you can return it for a refund within 90 days of purchase. I got the hat for my grandson for Christmas . He loves them I also bought one last year. Last year it was sent in a box this year it was just in a bag. It was all bunched up I had to shape it and put something inside of the hat to keep its shape. ~Sorry to hear your cap was mis-shapen when you got it. We are currently using FedEx since we have been having issues with shipping delays from USPS. We will be evaluating each service after the holidays - we will hopefully start using the postal service again.
I have order many products from Stormy Kromer and have always been happy with the product and the quality. And the shipping Until I just received a Christmas present for my husband It was shipped by Fed Ex and just throw into the bag with an inspection card and warranty information card So when I took the hat out of the bag it is a total mess. The bill of the hat is bent and the hat is creased it is unwearable. So I just spent $53 dollars on a “field cap” that my husband cannot wear. I am so disappointed. I have always taken pride giving my gifts from Stormy Kromer. But I no longer can say that. The quality of the hat is perfect. I feel throwing it in a fed ex bag bag and expecting a large company that like to take care of a bag was a very bad decision. I am not in a hurry to order again if this is our new shipping procedure. My other hats have always come in a box wrapped and protected ~ We're so sorry to hear that your cap didn't show up in good condition. I wear a 7&3/8 but some of my hats from you all I have to put on my hat stretcher.
Very nicely made cap with quality materials. However, it seems to be a little overpriced considering the construction of the cap. I don't believe I'd buy it again at this price.
