The Ember Jacket

I love this jacket. The wool is perfect for the Oregon Coast. I would give this jacket a 5 except that the sizing is difficult. I first got a large and it was too tight across the shoulders and the arms were too short. That looked great in the mirror but not practical. So I had to get the extra large. This means that the arm length is perfect and the shoulder is perfect but it is really too big around waist. As another reviewer wrote, pretty much makes the princess seams useless. It took me a bit to get used to the extra bulky fabric but it is warm and I love it for this climate.

I bought the partridge color last spring. This jacket is meticulously made with lovely wool and is a beautiful color. Would give it 5 stars except for the sizing. I'm a small, very active Yooper; The small looked really sharp, but with absolutely no room to move my arms around. Glad I was in the store to try it on. I ended up with a large, which although only about an inch too long in the sleeves, is somewhat baggy and makes the princess seams, well..... moot. But at least I can move my arms up and around and it still looks fine, and is warm. Since I live here, I'd be happy to be a guinea pig for a more active style! ~~ Thanks for the feedback Jo - we'll make sure our design team sees this as well! SK ~~

The Embers jacket is of excellent quality in materials and construction. It truly is the jacket I’ve been looking for! I am an archer and there’s nice flexibility room in the upper body. Packets are nice and deep! Thank you for continually producing quality US made products!

Well made. Runs a little tight in the shoulder area. Size up if in doubt

Love the jacket , I ordered an extra large it fits well- slightly tight in arm pit area. It’s warm and light.

Wife loves it ! Suggests make one that is lined with a nylon or something light...And in Petite sizes..
