I have the original Stormy Kromer but was looking for something with more ear protection when out in the blowing snow and I love the fit so far. I’ve only had it a week and 25 F degrees is the lowest it has been and no snow so I can’t wait to give it a real test. Hunted in the upper 20’s and didn’t even use the flaps.
Outstanding quality and comfort. I highly recommend this hat.
Fits the person well
The hat is beautiful constructed. Materials are first class. My one complaint would be sizing, very snug. I would have loved if they had one size larger. I’m hoping with some wear it will stretch a little. ~Sorry to hear your cap doesn't fit - we have a few sizes in this cap, so you could exchange for a larger size.
I bought this hat from Moosejaw. Their sizing guide is completely different. They call for 73/8 as a medium. Did not work. Do I buy a LG or XLg from factory this time? -Sorry for the trouble on the sizing. 7 3/8 should be a large.

Nice quality cap, very well made and fits true to size.
My boyfriend said this was his favorite gift. He fishes in Michigan in winter and loves how warm it is. The flap over the ears is perfect and he loves that it is made in the USA. Good price for the quality too
This hat is beautiful and well made. My husband loves it but sadly it did not fit. I wish it came in XXL as the XL was too tight. Will return it only because it did not fit.
