This cap is made from polar fleece which is not apparent in the pictures. It is lightweight and rather flimsy. My dog Maggie will allow it to be on her head for short periods, but shakes it off after a few minutes. I find putting the draw cord and toggle under her chin helps, as otherwise I think it would fall off and possible become lost outdoors. I'm glad I ordered it at the sale price, as I don't feel it is worth the full price. I am a long time Stormy wearer and this is cute but not the quality I expect from SK products.
